Drake Medox is hiring an Enrolled Nurse for a full time position in a Specialised Medical Practice in Burwood.The preferred candidate will have a proven ability in both clinical nursing and administrative skills.You will need to be registered with AHPRA as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse,have excellent organisational and computer literacy skills.

This role will involve caring for patients pre and post minor procedures,administration of medication as well as assisting the Specialist with procedures.Other tasks include:

• Organising Private Theatre Bookings,
• Organising Public Theatre List,
• Pre – operative Assessments,
• Education of the patients re their surgeries,
• Post Operative Assessments,
• Wound Care,
• Ordering & Monitoring Medical Stock/Equipment,
• Liaising with Anesthetists re patients that are booked,
• Good knowledge of Health Funds & Systems,
• Fee Estimation.
