Some examples of the recent placements we’ve secured for our staff are: an 8 week placement in the Pilbara region for an RN, an ongoing placement for a midwife in Dalby, 2 RNs in Alice Springs doing paeds, surgical for 3 months, and a 6 week placement for an RN in Julia Creek.
Right now we are looking for midwives and Division 1 nurses for placements all over the country. You will need to have at least 2 years full time experience under your belt before you can undertake a rural and remote placement. If you have an ICU or ED background it is a real bonus - however there are places for RN’s without that background also. Midwives generally need to be comfortable working in all areas of midwifery - but if you are able to work across SCN, ante and post natal we may be able to secure you work also. We will work with you every step of the way to provide the support, guidance and advice you need get the most out of your travel experience.
